she actually got him to talk to her but he pretty much stayed near me the entire time

I loved the Doctor who DX Ette. He got right down to his level and tried everything he could think of. He was very thourough and very loving. Now Ette is very antisocial, but there were quite a few times when he would sit right next to him and give him 5. I let Ette choose all of his Docs and Therapists. If he doesnt like them theres pretty much no chance hes going to let them help him.

DS ignored her during the 1st session. (There was a new door to open/close & a new light swithc to turn on/off.)
During the 2nd session, when she "tested" him, he needed to sit on my lap to interact with her.
The 3rd session it was "I have a car & a toy house with a working door. Don't bother me."

I thought, & so did his Support Staff, that his diagnosis was a little harsher because of his uncooperativeness.

the lady that diagnosed my son was fantasic, her and my son were in one room and i was watching them in another room and he was quite happy to play with her and didn't seem to mind that i wasn't there, which is unusual
