Autism / Autism Spectrum Support Group
Autism is classified as a neurodevelopmental disorder which manifests itself in markedly abnormal social interaction, communication ability, patterns of interests, and patterns of behavior. Although the specific etiology of autism is unknown, many researchers suspect that autism results from genetically mediated vulnerabilities to environmental triggers.
I'm 31 and have been diagnosed ADHD depression and anxiety for the last 16 years. The past few years have been very very hard for me. I finally reached out for help my melt downs had become to much for me to handle or my husband. They newly diagnosed me with PTSD due to a loss of many family members over a years time. They also diagnosed me bipolar. I've done alot of research since being diagnosed and it just doesn't seem to fit. Now this seems stupid but after seeing alot of TikToks I have seen many women with ADHD and autism had been misdiagnosed with bipolar. I told my therapist the other day how I feel around people. I have my small group of people I am around alot that are family or like family but other than that I become so uncomfortable. Going to the store I can kinda due the basic small talk with workers that I have to interact with but other than that I will try to avoid anyone that I can. I can remember even when I was a kid I always felt like I didn't fit in I've never had many friends and if I did have one they never lasted very long and I never knew why. I'm not good at conversation, conversation makes me very uncomfortable I will try to think over and over about things to say before I even have an interaction with someone. I do not initiate conversations with new people I even struggle when it's someone that is introduced by someone I know. I have a hard time talking to people I always seem to talk about my self or things I'm interested in and I struggle to stay talking about things that don't interest me. If there is any type of conflict I am not good at handling it I become extremely uncomfortable I sweat my voice and hands become slightly shaky. I always have felt like an alien. I just feel like I don't want to self diagnose I don't want to be that person to say I think I may be on the spectrum and just get looked at like and idiot. Sorry if this rambled on and was a little all over I'm also dyslexic so apologies.

Both my anus and my urethra have been left closed except with manual intervention. I hardly ever pass urine via the usual route (I have a suprapubic catheter passing directly into my bladder about 2 inches below my...
