It's almost upon us and this year I have decided that I am going - nowhere!
Just a very quiet day at home with my darlin who only wants socks for Christmas. I told him I would like a bottle of rum so we will sit around, him in his socks, me with a Dark and Stormy (rum and ginger beer).
A perfect day!

Sounds like a good idea however you want to relax. The last few years hubby & I have been going away in our caravan & having a nice roast & plum pudding with a bottle of champagne, out in the open at whichever caravan park we were at. This year we are staying home, still intend to have same sort of meal WITHOUT TV ON. That way it is a special day for us.
I guess we are lucky that we have David's family the Sunday before Christmas (though that has been thrown into maybe as youngest brother just dx with bowel cancer & in hospital Thursday before).
My family dont get together on the day. I dont see my sisters at all so usually see Mum before hand. hopefully this Saturday.

It all comes too quickly

I have my sons graduation from primary school this week, my Tysabri infusion, I am starting a new job, I have just had my sons birthday, trying to organise our wedding and I have not got any Christmas shopping done!!

Me stressed??? Nah

Family here Christmas day around the pool so that will be nice-If only I was not sooo busy at the moment and could get organised.

Sam, that sounds like heaps of stuff all happening at once too. It amases me that kids now "graduate" from primary school, didnt happen in our day LOL.
When is your wedding? I hope you are able to plan it at leisure.
I hope your Christamas is relaxing & that you are able to slow down.

We saw Mum on Saturday & exchanged presents & had a nice afternoon.
I just hope I am healthier for Christmas as I am struggling with diverticulitis (bowel prob) & the pain is causing ms to play up as usual LOL

I wish that I could stay home this year. We go to Syney and spend it with my husbands family, but this year I have a nasty cold that has been with me for two weeks now, a hacking cough that won't go and I don't have the energy.

His Aunt is in hospital and it will be a very stressful time up there. I don't have the energy for it and I'm really not looking forward to going.

My Eldest son just graduated from Highschool, the middle one did year 10. It's been so busy I would just love to hang around with the kids and do nothing
