Hi all! Spring is around the corner and baseball about a month away ...Ok well.......I had a stroke on 2/17/15 when my warfarin dosage dropped to 1.7 while i was in afib. I can never tell when Im in afib but have been in afib ever since. Was in hospital for 3 days while they struggled to get the right dosage.....it still varies wildly which is scary. I had 3 Tia previous to stroke and an old stroke from a few years past that i had no idea about. They plan a cardioconversion if i stay in afib. The stroke caused permanent damage on left side of brain but I show no signs of the effects....balance, speech, paralysis etc. My arm goes numb all the time.....which is also scary. I had adverse reactions to pradaxa, eliquis and xeralto and had an extreme reaction to keppra which they tried because they thought i might be having mini seizures....so I also take a 81 mg of aspirin in the am with 240 mg of diltiazem ...I have tooth that needs to be pulled but dont know what to do about that....waiting to hear back from dr. so the journey continues...enjoy the site and reading the discussions gives much insight....thanks in advance for any responses....not sure where i go from here.....Go Royals!!
