Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

1) Aspirin doesn't work for afib stroke.
2) They don't talk about "cure rates" with ablation (when talkiing % success), rather, they talk about "successfully treating" afib.
3) Over and over again they say ablation is for symptom relief and burden ( how much time you are in afib).
4) Afib won't kill you... stroke will. Secondly, controlling ventricular rate is important to prevent heart failure.
5) They see no miracle cure on the horizon (including FIRM ablation). Re-connection is the big issue.
