Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
I wrote a post the other day about itching bad on Sotalol You said your Dr. Switched u to Tikosyn as u had problems with side effects from the Sotalol - hate medicines and changing them. I was wondering what kind of side effects did u have with Sotalol - I don't have a rash. O.k. when I get up in a.m until I take the Sotalol and Sertraline together. Wasn't on Sertraline until a - fib attack. Guess it could be that but have taken it longer than the Sotalol. I have been on Sotalol since Sept. I do hope you can get your medicines sorted out! It is bad enough to have a- fib. Let me know, please what u find
out and hope u feel better!
