Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
He was very optimistic. All my numbers good and my heart sounded good at the time. He put me on the heart monitor for next 24 hrs. just to make sure what is happening at the time.
He thinks being on too much synthroid may have caused a fib. Hopefully by next month if all still looks good we will see what happens if I start to come off meds. I can hope! No matter what heart is in good shape from all the tests that have already been run. The EKG run today much better than all the others.

I was on 112mcg at time of first Afib attack they were lowering it slowly so was on 100mcg with second. Now they have it down to 75mcg and allmthe blood work is good. Hoping this is all I need. Funny it is the lowest amount I have needed since started at 17.
