Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
Ready to Walk (To stopafib forum)
It took me 5 minutes to remember how to post on this forum with the new format. There is a "News Feed" and you can't post there. The ORDER the posts are in is problematic also. The old format showed the latest posts on top. With this format, you have to click on the original post to see who posted and the date. It used to be easy to see the CONTENT of what the latest posts said. For example, if the original post was called "Anticoagulants", the posts may morph into other subjects like rhythm drugs or stroke or EPs in Baltimore. The new format doesn't INVITE you in. Few are posting now. It used to be I could be away for a week or two and easily catch up. Now I am losing interest. I don't see it getting better. I think everyone should shift to stopafib forum. We can make that forum a "family". There has ALWAYS been more information there... and admittedly, more conflict. That is because it is informational and the kooks selling dirt cures find a bigger microphone there.
