Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

had the ablation 04-14 -15 at avera heart hospital . and for the most part things went well. had 5 -6 episodes but for the last three days been nsr . still on flec and metoprolol three times as much used to take plus couple for esophagus . but must say some of the best doctors been around and the nurses. wont know how good things worked for 3 months but would do it again if need be . gonna go back to work Monday take it easy but just can't sit around anymore . hope everyone nsr

Hopefully they weren't just Beating Around the Bush when they did your ablation. The High Voltage machines they use for ablations these days really leave me Thunderstruck. My ablation had me in the red for a while, but soon I hope to be Back in Black.
