Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
Morning ritual take what needs to be on an empty stomach. Put out daily meds putter around make coffee (coffee I can have) and then after 30 min. take the rest and sit down with a cup of coffee. A little upset because I had forgot to take my Eliquis last night not worry just take it this morning and life goes on.
All day in like a flutter, almost like afib but I had things to do so just went on. Then afib about 1/2 hour before I was to take my Shi Tzu for a biopsy so thinking it was stress went to daily pill box to pull out a Xanax and guess what, I had not taken anything all day and it was now 3:00.
What I take works as now an 1 1/2 hrs. later things are calming down. The Vet technicians were a little worried as I did not look like I usually do. One gal said yes when my grandma forgets hers she is a mess. Grandmother I do not want to be that old.

I have to take Pradaxa 2x a day....I have had to skip one every so often, because I forgot it...until it was closer to the next ones time.
Hope your Doggy is OK!
Waiting on results on my Bella, but Vet said looked good they will let lab say for sure.
