Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
I am new to this group and I am so very grateful for all the info and advice you all have given. This group has been a godsend to me and I thank each and every one of you. Can anyone tell me more about the Omron ECG monitor. Are there more than one models. Which one might be preferable. thinking of getting one. Thanks again so very much
I'm sure there must be different models, but this particular model was recommended to me by another afibber and I truly like it a lot.
