Sorry you are having a bad time. A fib doesn't seem likely. It will be interesting to see if anyone else has the same issue.
But stroke could cause neuropathy, and diabetes is a common cause. Have they checked your blood sugar?

marikay...thanks for the response....I had severe neuropathy problems on Pradaxa, eliquis and xeralto which is how i ended up on warfarin. Ive offered to give eliquis another try but my cardio wont do it without being in a hospital. I keep wondering if there could be an underlying condition to the burning skin, itching, pins and needles, zaps and zings....my blood sugar is ok as well as cholesterol etc. To me its either an allergic reaction to a drug or underlying condition...i dunno...i take warfarin, vicodin, clonzepam, dilteazem,seroquel, lipitor,remeron, amitryptilene, and a prostate med. Ive been in afib for over a month now and will be electro verted next month. I have back problems, prostate, bladder and now this....so quality of life has gone right down the you know where.....this afib is horrible....and im getting more and more depressed and disillusioned with the guess work of the warfarin...seems to be no science to it.....im never in therapeutic range.....go twice a week for blood work and they cant get it right.

I would be at my wits too, that is a lot of meds and issues to deal with. Drugs.com lets you put all your meds in and check for interactions.

I saw this last night but have not had the time to check but remembered when all this afib started remembered some of the meds make neuropathy worse. I have chemo induced neuropathy, but that came and stayed as I already had some nerve issues in my feet. I really will live longer with controlled afib and my neuropathy limited to feet and fingers. Hands do no hurt but I use diebetic socks with mild support for my feet not a cure but helps.

I would really check on meds to see if any others are making it worse. So sorry for what you are dealing with.

Vinny, sorry to hear this. No doubt that each med is causing some of these annoying side effects. Vicodin used to make my skin crawl and itching was unbearable. You may need to stay massively hydrated at all times. Of course youll be running to the head all the time. Possibly research some good supplements to get some badly depleted minerals back into your. Saw palmetto for prostate is good. Simple Mag, COQ10 and Vit E may help.

Are any of your meds for neuropathy? What does your Dr say about it?
What effects did you have from the stroke? Neuropathy can be an after effect of stroke.
As far as the warfarin...it can be difficult to keep stable. Very important that you are very consistent with diet, meds, etc. It really is trial and error to find the right dose. Twice a week sounds like a lot for testing though. How far off are your INRs?
