Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
I did have the fr ablation on the 11th and have been doing okay, several episodes but was told to expect that, the severity has lessened immensely which is a blessing.
Hang in there.....

Yes, as Steve pointed out, think about it as "This will Pass too", really, it will. Hope the Fleca works for you and take you back to NSR.
Merry Christmas to you and your family too.
Also, think about what foods you had hours earlier before your episode this time. Just may be like me, your episodes are related to something you eat.
Recently, the doctors in Phx Children Hospital, determined that the COCONUT oil was the cause of afib in a 4 year old kid. They told the mother to stop using coconut oil in her cooking. She did and the kid's afib STOPPED. This is HUGE news connecting a food with afib. Coconut oil also is one my strong triggers.
This has been the 1st time that I hear medical doctors connecting diet and afib. I believe this is the beginning of connecting food with afib in the medical community. Just like all other disorders, more than likely afib is caused by certain food that we eat. Just like the fact that some people have allergy toward peanut butter.
Of course, I am NOT suggesting that the diet is behind of ALL afibs. But, I believe food sensitivity is the reason behind a lot of afibs. However, we need research in this area to give us more information. But, right now, we are on our own to determine if our afib is caused by certain food (the trigger).
Hang in there, this will pass.
Happy Holidays,
Scott
