Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

I have had Sclerotherapy for my veins several times in my twenties. I have been wearing compression stockings (30-40 mg) for over thirty years. The compression stockings help a great deal.
Without the stockings my legs really ache.
Its an annoying problems and on occasion I get Phlebitis as a result.
I have found that most vascular specialists will not accept insurance.
Leg swelling could be caused by a lot of things (congestive heart failure for one or a DVT -- really dangerous). I agree with DavidNRockies. See a doctor. He/she will probably send you for an ultrasound on your legs and do a good cardiac workup. If varicose veins are your problem, its a lot better that some other things you could have.
