Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group

Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

Tough to keep up with all of the posts/threads here on DS. I'm not sure if anyone put this up yet.

No doubt most here subscribe (via email) to JAFIB (Journal of Atrial Fibrillation) for their newsletters, updates - etc. If not (for newcomers) check the website out - as it has alot of great info. http://www.jafib.com/

Great resource Thomas. It was created in 2008. Technical, ut very readable. Back in June I posted the below video related to afib and GERD/Hiatal Hernia:

I've been getting the email newsletters, updates etc. alot of info and at times tough to review in it's/their entirety. I must say though the downloadable (bi-monthly) journal is an awesome thing. ;)
