Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

Yes, thinking about A Fib can be depressing. And sometimes, it just makes me mad!
Go ahead and vent----life isn't fair.
Then go do something fun, and find something to laugh about.

I never heard anyone say a specific number other than 2-3 is goo for afib. Most people not on Warfarin have INRs of 1. They don't have afib though to have to raise it with Warfarin.
Weight can affect blood pressure (BP). BP can affect afib. But they don't know what really causes it, only what is associated with it.

We all vent and express our fears. I think that is what this board does well-give support. So vent away!
I was told that weight might give you a bigger chance of sleep apnea and that would tend to cause a fib.
