Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

So sorry to hear about the afib...hope it passes quickly...but of course I have to ask..Papa John's, or one of the many Mom and Pop pizza places in Joisey? The afib isn't worth it, but I do hope the pizza was awesome!
Just ate lunch but now am hungry Bill
The Pizza was excellent, the Pepsi should have been avoided.
When I had pneumonia over Christmas I had a high temp. and the worst afib ever.
Take it easy tomorrow!!

You can't feel bad about eating a slice of pizza and having a soda. Probably caffeine should be avoided. I like the cherry flavored clear carbonated water (no caffeine or sugar). But really... you didn't get an ablation to only find out you can't have pizza or lie on your left side at night, right?
You know the joke about the guy that goes to the doctor and lifts his arm and says "Doc, it hurts when I go like this!". The doctor answers... "Then don't go like that!"
My daughter bought a new car from a dealer in NJ (Italian owned, you know the gig). I was there. I know the boys well. So anyway, she drives off and a wheel cover falls off when she turns left. We come back and my daughter is really angry. The "boys" are standing around outside the showroom and my daughter runs up to them with the wheel cover in hand, shouting at them. "Look at this! I made one left turn and the wheel cover came off!" The answer from the owner of the dealership? "Only make right turns then!" Laughter and steam sound from my daughter's ears. I guess he meant to take the jug handle.
Anyway, you shouldn't have to feel like you can only make right turns to not flip into afib. Hang in there, Paul.

Hope you are feeling better now.
BTW, I saw the endocrinologist a few days ago. She reduced the thyroid suppression drug because my TSH and T4 numbers were approaching hypo range.
Also, leftover Pizza for lunch ... no Pepsi. Can't give up Pizza. I make pretty good Pizza myself. Mom's recipe.. And Bill, I would never dream of going near a Pizza Hut or Dominos. Garbage. I tried a frozen pizza from the supermarket a few months ago. Threw half of it out. Either I make it myself, or go to the local mom-pop pizzeria (or hop on a plane an go to Naples for some really good stuff -g-).
