Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
Just wanting to wish everyone an afib free weekend, the weather is changing and there are good things in the air! We all need a break!
Happy Weekend to Everyone! It is super Hot here in NE FL. I went into the Ocean for awhile...I will enjoy the AC for the rest of Saturday. (And hopefully NSR)
I'm not sure how many people have afib...thousands. But, I was thinking, someone is being diagnosed today. I will always remember how frightening and baffling that diagnosis was for me. So much to learn and adjust to.
