Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

I haven't been here since they changed the site. Boy this new site really sucks. I feel good, no AFIB since ablation #2 in March. STill working 2-3 days/week. The new stock exchange I have been building for the last two years brought up their first symbols on Friday. Over the next three weeks we will bring up the remaining 8,000+ symbols to be a fully funstional stock exchange. Paul congrats on being AF free and the report of the fruition of your labor, Ill check out that site. The guy I golf with who had one ablation 5 years ago is still NSR to date, so there are successes. As for this site, Im not sure its user friendly, but judging from the lack of posting, its not aesthetically pleasing.

Hi Paul, not much of a gang left at all here.
Glad to hear you’ve got your a-fib under control!! I’m sure it makes life much easier – although you are probably still looking over your shoulders, just to make sure.
I read the article that you linked – you are amazing. I must admit, though, I understood very little of what you did, but I think I sort of get the gist.
You’re right, this isn’t the best site anymore, it looks like many have moved on (or not found us again). Sad.

Yes, most have moved on to the suggested site. I will visit also, but not a huge fan of that site for various reasons. One issue is a possible conflict of interest by the inventor of that site. However if most there believe that the answer to this condition is ablation and meds, theyll fit in just fine. Me, Ill be back to my other 2 sites, and Im sure no one will care. But I will miss most of you fellow fib friends.

Hi Hwkmm,I started on STOPAFIB today. Hope to see you there. My AFIB started up again a few weeks ago. Crap! If I stay a 1-2 episodes / month I can tolerate it. I don't feel that ablation #3 is in my future.
