Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group

Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

Here's to a great New Years' Eve and 2014 to everybody here on DS.

Especially CLand and Petey, two of the many outstanding DS contributors and cornerstones of this website. Happy paddling Carrie.

Happy New Year Thomas! You are so right! We have outstanding members on this DS site and I am thankful for the friendships made here! My new years resolution is to make more time to do the things I love to do. Less stressing, more paddling :) Also, I just got my fishing license and a new fishing pole so I plan to be a frequent visitor to the shores of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches :)

Happy New Year to all of you:) Thanks for ALL your support. Ir is a big comfort to me to find other people with the same problems. Unless you experience A-Fib, people don't understand. I pray for everyone on this wonderful site and hope for NSR for all:) I am going to try to take it one day at a time and try not to worry too much about everything in my life right now!
