Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
Hi Everyone....Hope all is well....My neurologist prescribed gabapentin for neuropathy relief. After reading the side effects, and being on soo many meds, Im kinda afraid to start this med. Especially since Im secheduled for cardioversion next tue. Ive been experiencing extreme fatigue and hoping the cardioversion helps with this. Anyone have any experience with this drug. Thanks in advance for feedback and I ll be back to tell how the cardioversion went.. Make it a great weekend!

I have a friend with afib and if gave her congestive heart failure, but it was wonderful for her neuropathy.
