When I first found out about having afib and was taking different drugs to see which was best for me I felt very lethargic together with other side effects, but when I figured out which ones I could take and settled into a daily routine I was much better. The main thing I found out was that I had to decide what was best for me. I did not rely on the cardiologist. Moy...

I'm always tired and dizzy....it's a normal day to me with A-Fib. I don't know if it affects everyone that way, but it does me. I hope you get feeling better. It really can be draining.

I'm so sorry about the fatigue and dizziness both of you. I have had that on and off the past few months and it is no fun.

Fatigue and light headednes (not sure if you actually mean dizzy or pre syncope feeling on standing) are symptoms of AFIB. They also are side effects of drugs including beta blockers and other drugs used for rate control Sometimes people just feel tired and light headed. Sometimes depression can cause these and I can tell you, depression is common with AFIB. I guess you could have all of these.

In my case, before I was diagnosed, I would feel that way and not want to get off the couch. The more I stayed on the couch, the worse I would feel. If I got off the couch and on the treadmill, I would feel more energetic. It always seemed surprising to me... backwards. But now, I understand that afib makes the heart 80% efficient and therefore, less blood is flowing. That will make you feel tired in itself.

yes for some reason i have quite doing any kind of treadmill and i feel now more lazy .i need to get back on tread mill and get off the couch
