Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
Wethat's you, me, Clyde,6 and guinea pigslost the capacity to make vitamin C thousands of years ago. An animal that makes its own vitamin C makes 8 to 12 grams every day, but how much we need to have on hand isn't really clear. Vitamin C is a cofactor for enzymes involved in the synthesis of collagen, carnitine, and norepinephrine, in the metabolism of tyrosine, and in the post-translational modification of peptide hormones. It is also a powerful, water-soluble antioxidant that may protect low-density lipoproteins, and perhaps cellular constituents, from oxidation. If so, vitamin C might blunt the impact of oxidant signaling, thus affecting the likelihood of atrial fibrillation.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1995055/
Interesting about that claim of Lipo being 10x. I wont disagree that there is a difference in potency, only cost vs benefit is not noticeable to warrant that increase. Of course if I could take 1/4 the amount, it would be the same price.
Island you may benefit greatly to start with Lipomosal liquid. Buy a trusted brand, not a cheap one. Davinci, or Allergy research Group are good ones. Under $20 per 4oz is a waste of money.
I've been doing Tai Chi for more than 40 years so understand exactly what he says with regards to the Qi energy.
Also, I take Rythmol but only on an "as needed" basis which means some months I don't need it at all.
I've found, through trial & error, the triggers: MSG, caffeine, sugar and others affect me. Certain medications trigger me too. Wheat gluten also is a big one for me. As does excessive alcohol.
I've also found I need the micro-nutrients: Vit B complex, Magnesium citrate (very important), Ubuiquinol, Vit C and others are critical to being stable. When I don't take those in my morning smoothie, I'm triggered a lot easier. When I do take them, I can have wine with dinner, a shot of scotch or a beer once in a while and am fine.
I had IV chelation to get the heavy metals out - and I did have quite a bit of lead & cadmium in my system. Amalgam fillings have been removed and the mercury also came out with the chelation.
Also, I reduced my weight from 200 lbs to 175 using the Siesta Beach HCG diet. It was amazingly easy to do. And I stopped eating red meat and fowl (no chicken or turkey) and no dairy. I eat all forms of seafood and mainly greens like spinach, brocholli, beans and so forth. Going out, I prefer Mexican as they have the freshest veggies, onion, avocado, tomatoes and so forth.
So, in my experience, he's right on the money. I won't be needing an ablation as I'm managing very nicely, now that I did the cleansing and support my system with the vitamins and minerals noted.
How did you determine that you needed chelation? Was it an EDTA challenge or hair test? I have had many filling removed, but have more to go, however my hair test looks fine.
His food diet I could not do. On warfarin so I do eat potatoes and root crops., no greens or coles., Yes I eat dairy and drink a gallon of milk a week. My diet could be improved.
I forgot to mention that my blood iron (ferritin) was 50 times normal, up at 1350 ug/l, so I had to have weekly phlebotomies for 8 months to get it down to normal. The hematologist did mention that iron from that high a level could have gone into my heart tissue and be a contributing factor in the afib issue, so now that my ferritin is at 50, I have a phlebotomy whenever it goes above 50 (I get it checked every month) and that usually translates to a phlebotomy about every 8 weeks.
After all that, my conclusion is that you really have to check all sorts of issues yourself as no single doctor can take the time to investigate the full scope of factors that could be contributing to ones condition.
