Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
Yes I also use Loratidine as an antihistimine, which if fine and dr. approved. I thought that dextromethorphan was a cough suppressant. which is what I want. Pseudophed etc. are stimulants; I can't have that

Dextromethorphan side effects
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using dextromethorphan and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
severe dizziness, anxiety, restless feeling, or nervousness;
confusion, hallucinations; or
slow, shallow breathing.
Less serious side effects are more likely, such as stomach upse
I read Daisy's comments AFTER taking this horrible drug. It's so obvious. Had I read these comments first I never would have taken the drug, even with a g.p.'s blessings.
