Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
On the subject of celebs that have AFIB, I'm always a cynic and not often impressed.
'Cos (IMO) there 'oughta be many, many more hi-profile people who have been affected by this condition.
That said, last night while watching the next to the last episode of FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance 2014" Nigel Lythgoe revealed that he has AFIB.
This Dude is a well known producer, director and entertainer, who is responsible for producing American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance - among many others things.
He keeps a low profile and in many circles may not be considered an "A List" celeb when it comes to this stuff, but I thought it was good to hear. Unfortunately, not for him but for the long standing list that seems to never change. ;)

Actually, this "reality" competition franchise is one of the best on TV.
Not the most interesting for the majority of viewers though.
If you work in advertising for as long as I have and are not "diverse" - good luck.
Keep in mind this is NOT "Dancing With The Stars." This is hardcore, broadway, old school/new school content with relentless and professional judging.
Zero Drama as well.
I really think that this (show) has had most of Nigel's attention over the years even with all of the coin he's made on American Idol.
