Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

It has some bad grammar, but what I took away from the website is that there are natural remedies for afib, but none that are reliable for stroke prevention.

good luck to you
What I've read concerning supplements basically amounts to, "it worked for my brother-in-law". This kind of anecdotal information is dubious at best, and dangerous at worst. The main problem is that most doctors are not nutritionists, they are drug prescribers. Medical school teaches you that man-made pharmaceuticals are the best and only answer to our ills, when vitamins and supplements could possibly be a better alternative.
Because they're not as widely studied, vitamins and supplements and their interactions with other medications you might be taking are not known. In many cases, a mountain of evidence might support using a specific vitamin or supplement, but the exact reason why it works remains unknown to science.
I use Drugs.com to check for interactions of supplements and the Pharmacy as well.
I was on the supplements that Dr. Sinclair recommended when I got afib. I was working on protecting the heart from a targeted therapy for cancer. Other than the Hawthorne I was taking all the others before cancer......so I realize there is a time to use a allopathic Dr.

He reminded me I have gone natural for years without much improvement, then he astounded me with some wisdom I now live by. "Do you want quality or quantity of life?" Some people recover from strokes with minimal damage and others live very poor lives afterward.
For me I chose quality, I don't take everything the Dr. recommends but I do my research and do what I feel is right for me.

instead I took Natokenese a natural blood thinner. Before too long I had 3 clots, one in my calf and one in each lung.
It might work for some people but I will always be on a prescribed
blood thinner. That was very scary and dangerous.
