Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

He sure did make Warfarin sound like a punishment. He said his Mom couldn't have the foods she liked, like Spinach. But, I have read here, that lots of folks eat what they want, they just stay consistent with it.

It looks like a-fib is getting coverage!

Youre right yogacat thats what I thought when I watched the video. It was like a slap in the face. Then I thought that must have been a while back because the poor woman wasnt even on anticoagulants and she had AF! When I went to read the other stories I ended up on the Xarelto page and thought ah-ha.

I love spinach, broccoli, avocados and lots of other stuff with vitamin K in it and wouldnt think about giving them up!! It works for me.

now whats a NASCAR Sprint Car race???

Without these companies (and websites like this), there would be no awareness. We can all make up our minds about what anticoagulant to take.

But, wouldn't it be great if Pradaxa, Coumadin, and Eliquis all had cars in the race? Pradaxa a would beat Coumadin by 35%, but Coumadin would claim they were in full speed range only 67% of the time.
