Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
Might be worth taking a break mate it happened to me a few years back I was pushing myself too far to quickly
I had bouts of unexplained afib and after countless tests it came back I had a mildly enlarged right ventricle ... This was what was causing my afib etc
This shrank back to normal but its worth looking into ....
I'm still running and in completely better fitness but it's not worth over training
Did your afib go away or do you still have episodes?
In any case, doctors say that even a mild cardio workout is good, even sufficient for good health. My workouts now are probably a step or two above mild, but not sweat sopping hard as before. Though I still work up a sweat!
