Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

Well ive got an ablation scheduled for June 17 (3 days after my birthday) 4 months of hell , but the Flecenide has been a Godsend!! very good drug Wish me luck! running horse

Tomorrow is the one month anniversary of my ablation and I have been afib free the whole time.

Hmmm, there must be a sale on for ablations for 55 year olds within 3 days of their birthday (mine is 2 days before my birthday)! lol !

Way to go Opsyn! A WHOLE month?! Now thats what dreams are made of! :-)

So, theres nothing left to do except wait, keep calm, breathe deep and keep your eyes on the prize!
