Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group

Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

Has anyone spent any time reading at everydayhealth.com? I have just spent the better part of an hour reading their articles on A-fib. Lots and lots of good info. Seems to be quite current, too.

They do have good info. Awhile back, they asked our members to tell their story about having afib. One of our members was published with them.

I like that they are easy to read and understand. There is alot of good info out there to read, and the more we educate ourselves, the better.
