Hi everyone! I just wanted to give you all an update! I am still doing great. The afib and atach episodes very rarely happen any more. I'm down to maybe 2 episodes every few months. Now it very well could be with all of the scar tissue my EP created during the 2nd ablation last year that I don't feel them anymore. Either way my quality of life has vastly improved. I'm still taking 400mg of Multaq 2x a day, 50mg of extended release metoprolol 1x a day and 20mg of Xarelto 1x a day. I've build my cardio capacity up to doing 50 minutes nonstop on the eliptical machine. That's better than what I was able to do before I got the heart problems! It pretty much feels like those horrid 2.5 years of hospital visits and surgergies happened to someone else and not me. But I get reminded by the hospital bills and meds. Lol! I just want to tell you all to not give up on your situation. It can always get better for you. You just have to have faith. May you all have NSR!
