Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
Today I slept most of the day, and yes I had to take a Tylenol #3 in order to do so. I'm having right sided tenderness and some pain below the ribs...but can't figure out if it is spleenic or pancreas. It hurts to lay on that side, and it hurts to touch it...sitting up is not so bad, but it's aggravating. Anyone else have any tenderness to their stomach at all? I know warfarin can cause problems, but so can any medication. Anyone have any ideas. I don't feel anything like a hernia, but I'm puzzled. This is no kind of life...being tired and dizzy all the time. I too am going to have another ablation, but the new EP we have here was booked up for 3 mo. when I went to make my appt. so it's not till July 11th. Maybe I'll get some answers then. Meanwhile, it helps to vent just a little bit. I'm so happy to hear so many of you are doing well.and especially cheered up that Petey has found a beautiful Asian woman that is looking for a green card. Wonder if it's the same one that was sending the mushy e.mails to Surfrat.:)
Sorry you have to wait til July for your appt. You have a right to vent.

It's funny that you mentioned beautiful Asian woman... my wife happens to be a beautiful Korean woman. I suspect most of the emails come from Africa, not Asia. It's good we can laugh and get a little off topic. i would be afraid one of these women would get my checking account and then open my Pradaxa bottle at night so they would be rendered ineffective... or worse yet, offer to shave me with a straight edge razor,... ouch!!!

LOL, of the coincidence. Korean woen are definitely gorgeous. I spent most of my life with my ex in he Air Force and I can tell you the GI's were definitely marrying them right and left. I used to go to Bingo with one that was a good friend, and she always tickled me, because she would yell out "Beengo"...we had such fun, and yes it's nice to get off topic sometimes.
I think I'll make an appt with my PCP and see if she can run some blood work and come up with anything...it could be my thyroid yet again, and it could be I need a higher setting on my C-pap.

My father was blissfully happy when he went to Korea. Next thing I know we are eating sea weed. The memories came flooding back when I cooked a salmon dinner/rice, and found the sea weed in the cupboard. I actually like it. The kids couldn't get enough.
And Petey, not only are these e-mails coming from Africa, but they're most likely being written by men trying to scam other men out of money.
Well, indeed I feel left out. I haven't had one foreigner hit on me, but I can't believe that people still fall for that. I mean I'm old, but I'm not that old-well maybe I am, but still I know a scam when I see it.

Is your pain at your waist or higher? I've had left side waist pain for about 4 months. I've had an x-ray and CT scan and they show nothing. Prednisone has helped while I was taking it but then the pain comes back.
I sure hope you get some relief.
