Xolair funding

I have been on Xolair since 2005. It has been a wonder drug for me. I still have to stay away from things like dust and chemicals but I CAN BREATHE!

However, it is really expensive. I've been getting help from a chararity called HealthWell. Now they say they have no more finding.

Does anyone know of any other funding? Genentech is the company that makes it. They help people without insurance buti have Medicare.

Even with insurance, the co payment is over $300 a month and $1200 when I am in the donut hole.

I know the manufacturer is trying to make it a more insurance acceptable treatment with more people taking it the price will come down slowly but in the mean time my son was considered life endangered and was unable to attend high school. Class was done by computer and there was a fight. Color has given him a life. We will do what we need to so he can keep it and attend college. Without it he can't breathe or have a life. I hope u find an answer because for some this is the only hope.

Have you talked with your prescribing doc? They may know of some funding through Genentech/Novartis.
Good luck! It is very expensive!

In my state, they just began a funded program for those with private health insurance. When I spoke to them on the phone during sign-up, I kept saying "really, really"? I could not believe it!
Xolair has been my lifesaver!
