Asthma Support Group
Asthma is a disease of the human respiratory system where the airways narrow, often in response to a "trigger" such as exposure to an allergen, cold air, exercise, or emotional stress. This airway narrowing causes symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, which respond to bronchodilators.
I work until 11:30 pm at a local hospital. Even this late at night, the humidity is a killer. When I leave the air and hit that "wall" it always hits hard.
in fact my one dr actually calls from his cell to tell me i should stay in.
I cant think of much else.

uggh i had to go out today to dr. it is BRUTALLL
I used to be able to tolerate the heat without much problem but now that I have asthma I can't.
That makes it a little harder because I keep thinking that I can function like I always did and wind up in the ER. (Last ER viit 7/20) Since I am just now winding down on my pred taper I think I'll remember. At least for the rest of this summer.
But seriously be careful. The heat is dangerous. I know..now.
