Asthma Support Group
Asthma is a disease of the human respiratory system where the airways narrow, often in response to a "trigger" such as exposure to an allergen, cold air, exercise, or emotional stress. This airway narrowing causes symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, which respond to bronchodilators.
If I run I have an asthma attack and need two puffs of Pro-Air to relieve my asthma attack. Cigarette smoke really sets me off, and now spring is here. However cold air does not trigger an asthma attack in me as it does for most people.

Some of my other triggers are cigarette smoke(both in the air on and on clothes), paint fumes, certain fumes from cleaners, humidity.
