Asthma Support Group
Asthma is a disease of the human respiratory system where the airways narrow, often in response to a "trigger" such as exposure to an allergen, cold air, exercise, or emotional stress. This airway narrowing causes symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, which respond to bronchodilators.
Keep this updated as I'd like to hear how you do!
By the way, I was on a gluten free diet for one year, maybe a little longer, but this was pre-asthma years for me. It's not easy, is it?
It may be an idea to go to an allergy dr who can do some blood tests. Alos what type of asthma do you ahve is it exercise induced or allergy related??
Make sure you stick to the diet. Asthma can become worse with food allergies. Even if the food allergy isnt serious it can cause the lungs to produce excess mucus and make the airways twitchy and casue the asthma to get worse.
