Asperger syndrome - also referred to as Asperger's syndrome, Asperger's, Aspergers or just AS - is one of five neurobiological pervasive developmental disorders (PDD), and is characterized by deficiencies in social and communication skills, normal to above normal intelligence, and standard language development.
I have gotten to be 39 yrs old and i have heen know to be an aspie ever since I was in first grade. I rember going through kids in junior high school making fun of me and treating me liks total dirt. I had all the other kids saying the most cruel crap they could every time i walked to and from lunch. I have even in my more recent hisory had my last girlfriend tell me she did not want to go anyplace in public with me and that made me feel just misrable. I had somebody I really liked to say something cruel to me but instead of feeling bad about it I tought about it and I struck the holy grial. I was hurt because I let myself feel hurt. So the answer was to not let anything make me feel bad because I am the master of my feelings and not my feelings the master of me. Since that day I never looked back. I am happy and full of joy because those are wht i want to feel and I refuse to let anything change that.

Here is another idea that you haven't already heard. Ignore the nasty ppl. and hang out with kind, loving ppl. Nice ppl. will not treat you that way.
I too am diagnosed aspie, I have a very hard time keeping jobs and friend even relitives do not want anything to do with me.
I do not understand anything more than literal things spoken to me so I would like to know what "I struck the holy grial." means?
