I once was told that I was putting forth snake oil or otherwise false hope because I said something positive. I do not encourage anyone to try anything that they have no buisness trying. I do belive that even if all you can do is comunicate with the help of a computer by your eye movements and blinking that a person can still have a good attitude and inspire others an in so doing a person who can not do much can still affect the world and be of value. I have worked with disabled people for 2 years as part of my job because i was working for Goodwill indistries and i learned that even if a person is truely disabled they can still be amazing and inspiring. As a witness to the fact of great wonder that can come from even the disabled i will say it is proof that positive attitude is a real and great thing and is a force that does insire and does affect the world. This can be of use for us aspies and everybody on earth.

Yeah, I mean OMG, have you seen the videos of that inspirational speaker that was born with no arms or legs? That guy is absolutely amazing!!! Whenever I'm feeling small,unable to function, finding myself in a corner, thinking about that guy helps me get out the funk.

Where do I start?? I became physically disabled. I am in a hospital bed in the living room, been here 6 years. Was depressed and sunk in the bed. (did not own a computer at the time) a friend suggested it and I told her I loooove the internet!! I have been on it since it became in existance!! Well a friend of a friend of a friend got me an old dinasour but it was free, fully loaded and free internet through hers!!! My life has changed sooo much! What I do now is I find the hurting, the dieing, I make them laugh. I talk to them about fun stuff. My goal in life is to forget my pain, my woes, my fears blah blah blah and just look for EVERY positive there is in EVERY situation and expound upon that,.
Critious: I say that ALLL the time that we came here alone and we are leaving alone. And the other thing I stress is about "material posessions" I always say, "when have you ever seen a hurse pulling a uhaul?" LOL!!
