Asperger syndrome - also referred to as Asperger's syndrome, Asperger's, Aspergers or just AS - is one of five neurobiological pervasive developmental disorders (PDD), and is characterized by deficiencies in social and communication skills, normal to above normal intelligence, and standard language development.
I don't know for sure that I understand what is meant by "meltdown" but I know I sometimes overreact to things.

When I overreact, I say things that I don't necessarily mean, or that may be mean, or "preach" about some "fundamental principal" being in question or whatever nonsense happens to manifest. It's not nice, it's not fun, but it sometimes seems like a relief valve to prevent the meltdown thats trying to manifest.
A meltdown you WILL know. No logic, no reason, verbally ABUSIVE, non-specific RAGE...other times, Rocking/Crying/Inconsolable....may you never have one. It is called a meltdown for a reason,

Was just skimming through that wiki article and the concepts of Containment and Passive Safety continue the metaphor well. (As well as Fallout and Radioactive Poisoning), It would appear that I have restructured my life, (whether actively or inadvertently), around the specific purpose of NOT HAVING A MELTDOWN.
