both my dad and brother have aspergers and both can be very jealous, especially if I do something better than they can
my dad gets very bad tempered and my brother sulks, sometimes for weeks, they are both very envious of me
I never get any praise for having done well

Praise in something a lot of Aspies are very good at. Are you sure it's sulking, or could it simply be obliviousness?
Praise is something a lot of Aspies are not good at.
I seldom get any acknowledgement for my inputs accomplishments and etc.
At home when I was a teen I caught my mom taking credit for my ideas ...
I got mad at her and told her to stop lying to her friends my ideas are mine not hers...
I have the right for her to give credit where its due..
she should have said to her friend my son came up with a great solution to your problem not...
I came up witha solution to your problem...
this kind of senario often happened at work to and thwarted my advancement in both pay and position..
the person above me be it a supervisor or employee with more senority took credit for what I ahd done
not something they had completed or accomplished withou out me... my name was almost never mentioned etc.
this is more common than most realise i really think..
