College life.

I started college in September and now I started my second semester earlier this month. I haven't made any friends at all because I'm scared that I'll pick on in college just like in high school again. I sort of feel like some people don't really like me already. Has anyone felt this way before?

YES! Fear can be a gripping thing that prevents us from living. Allowing others to cause you to not live your life is not what will help you get past this tough time. Do some research as to what is available on your campus. There may be a group already set up that you could feel comfortable joining or fit in. Feeling socially accepted is important for everyone and we all have times we feel out of place and self conscious. You are not alone, and the larger the population you are in, the more likely it is you will find others like you.

College is different. Especially university over Jr. college. People are goal driven education focused and much more grown up. I don't know how excepting or inclusive you will find them that will depend on how and where you decide to socialize. But out and out teasing will probably not happen on campus. Join a club or something. Just be careful of college parties especially if your female. Without a tried and true wing man they can be dangerous. If your going to be after hours social, clubs are safer.
