It's nice to hear this. Getting a diagnosis is liberating...it's makes sense of ourselves and the world. Then, we can just go on living...life is hard for everyone, so struggles don't end, but knowing about our Aspergers helps us move forward -- and after all, Aspergers is just part of us, not all of who we are.

I was recently diagnosed & it did indeed feel liberating- Finally! An explanation.

I can still find it difficult to fully accept that I have Asperger's, but I am still coping nonetheless.

Today I went into a meltdown after a few hectic days when I had a misunderstanding with a Belfast Taxi Firm in order to get a taxi from an OA location back to the Buscentre; I didn't want my identity revealed as I was a Catholic in an area full of Protestant Paraphernalia; and then Yesterday I had to deal with an errand I had to run for my Gran; who can never find satisfaction in a Month of Sundays.

Today I had taken my anger out on the washing machine door when I had an issue with my laundry today. It was a bats**t week for me all round. Is Mercury in retrograde? :|
