I think it's just the way life goes sometimes. There's all kind of diseases and awful things that happen to all people of different ages and all cultures. No rhyme or reason to it. It's just biology and genetics and environment and whatever else.
I won't deny I have learned things about myself and others since having disease and that's not a bad thing but heck I wish I didn't have to suffer so much.
Writing can be good therapy.
I hope you have better days. I'm sorry you have such pain. It's a tough road sometimes isn't it?
Be kind to yourself and just do your best.
Did you say thank you to yourself?
Who was post #1 to?
Yes I believe you are right in your beliefs. Although I have always been taught that things happen for a reason. That's why I refer to the "pain" as a given to us. But that's just my way I deal with it.
I'm not sure what you mean by Post #1?
You are the author of the original topic
And reply #1. Is also written by you.
And you said
"Thank you lady"
Who are you saying thank you to?
To yourself?
I see now. In my feed I have a nice lady who replied with a supportive compliment. She's the one I am saying thank you to.....
Shelby
Just wondered that's all.
Thx
Your welcome :0)
About complimenting one self, I was taught in my support group for breast cancer that we should do it, and often, we need to hug ourselves and pamper, I do it all the time.
At work when I am done with a patients I tell myself 'You are really good" Nothing wrong with giving oneself a compliment, that I know you did not, but should.
I can not take pain medications and my pain management doctor has made me learn self hypnosis and meditation.
Also he thinks it helps when one is calm, not angry or other negative attitudes.
Also I stay away from negative people.
That's funny that you mention that because when I am around negative people or having a moment with my X, my pain seems to be worse.
I will remember that. Thank you for the information.
