I have had arthritis in my back for just over 10 years (I'm in my mid 30's). More recently I have started getting arthritis in my neck and hands mostly finger joints). I am on an anti-inflammatory as well as pain relievers 2x daily. My question is this, the pain in my hands seems to be worsening tremendously while my back and neck is not. Should I ask my PCP (she treats me for my arthritis), wait it out because it may just be the weather changes (I'm in Iowa), or just attempt to 'deal with it'.

I think you should always let your doctor know any changes, you are on meds and have other health problems, it could make a difference. If it's been a while since your last visit, then again a good idea to let the doctor know of any changes. I hope it's something simple as weather changes. I too have reactions to weather changes, from sinuses as well as my joints. (((HUGS)))

I agree with Orichila, I would bring it up to the doctor. It's always best o check when things change or get worse. It's best not to guess and speculate. You Want to be sure.
Weather change effects me too. Cold Winter is hard. I hurt way more.

I use Heating pads and usual self help stuff.

My hands, fingers are badly arthritic. And painful. I had occupational therapy which was helpful. If you feel your grip is weaker. Things awkward to hold and grip. Some hand therapy maybe beneficial.
