Hi everyone, my name is Pam and I'm new here. It's been so long since I've talked with anyone, unless you want to count my cat,Lil sis, and she isn't interested. I've had osteoarthritis for 27 years now. I'm 56 and I've also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. The pain is out of control, I cannot find a doctor in this tiny town I've moved to and I don't have a car anymore, so my travel is very limited. I'm living an isolated life and have been since moving here three years ago, I learned the hard way that in a town this small an outsider is not welcomed. I'm depressed and I just don't know what to do. My small disability is all I've got, and for those of you who survive on this, it's a serious struggle. I would sure welcome anyone who would like to talk with me.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

I have arthritis in knees and all thru body but the knees is where my pain is...the doctor first found it in xray of lower back and saw it on my hips but my hips do not hurt at all....
I have had five arthroscopic surgeries on my knees...since like 99 I think maybe 98....I am attempting to get surgery to replace the worse knee now that I got Medicare from being on Disability for two years now...surgeon agreed to do it but it is not scheduled yet because I am waiting to August....friend from Houston is coming in July and I want to be fully functional when she is here....going to some baseball games and a date or two with her too....:0)
So what do you want to talk about...send me friend request we are same age....I am 57 now....
I too am new to this group but not to osteoarthritis.
I am also your age and this just came to a head about six years.
I had arthritis in both feet with now 5 joint fusion plates and screws but lots of permanent nerve damage.
I neen a knee relacement and more disk problems so have 3 fusions in my cervical spine and going through injections in low back for two bad disks which are also full of arthritis.
To top it all off one of my thumb joints (the large one connecting the hand with the wrist.
I guess the knee replacement will have to be held off because after 10 weeks of conservative measures that joint will also have to be replaced with is a complicated one. Six months in cast and many more months of therapy and no guarantee WOW!
Bill, Best wishes on your knee replacement and keep in touch to let me know how it goes.
HUGS . Cindi
