Arrhythmias Support Group
Cardiac arrhythmia is a group of conditions in which the muscle contraction of the heart is irregular or is faster or slower than normal. Some arrhythmias are life-threatening medical emergencies that can cause cardiac arrest and sudden death. Others cause aggravating symptoms, such as an awareness of a different heart beat, or palpitation, which can be annoying.
Do they affect your head,I know what you mean about thinking you are going to pass out,the heart specialist said that wouldnt happen but if you feel like that, that doesnt really help.Mine are worse when I lie down, I hardly got any sleep last night and I dont want to increase the beta blockers, I get this sort of whooshing in my head!!
I suppose if you get them very irregularly maybe you dont notice, but every 3 or 4 beats is a bit much!!
Thanks for replying.
I do know what you're talking about and how scary they can be. I just finished wearing a halter monitor for 24hrs to see what's causing mine. I too take a beta blocker and don't like how it makes me feel but if it calms my heart then I guess so be it. :) I hope they get this figured out because I know how it can wear on you and make like miserable.
Take care and big hugs

I read it and went to a 24 hour pharmacy to get taurine and L-arginine, but only found L-arginine. I took 500 miligrams. I was very skeptical but desperate. I was not getting much sleep because my pvc's were so frequent, and I felt like my heart was going to stop any minute, but 40 minutes later my PVC's were less noticable. I couldn't believe it.The next day I bought taurine and eased my way into the articles protocall and now My pvc's are almost completely gone. From what I have researched Taurine has almost no side effects and L-arginine has some but none that worried me too much. Read this article or do a google for "taurine cures pvc's". Research these amino acids and try it out if you want your life back.
