I hate scrabble

I had to do a cognitive test concerning language a few months back. The researcher said she had never seen anyone score quite so high. I guess I know a lot of words, meanings and synonyms and antonyms and so forth. Yet, when searching for certain words, my vast repertoire often fails me and I use swear words! Ha! I always thought it seemed unintelligent to swear, but now I realize that sometimes fuck is the only word that fits!!

My math skills however, were laughable!

On another "talk about anything" note.... I bought my first leather jacket. I'm feeling kind of bad ass.

All the midwest peeps weather the storms last night okay?

I am sure that you all heard about the Aug 2011 earthquake on here in Va. I was totally in the middle of that. OMG... The kids and I were all at home. I was upstairs when the rumbling started. I thought the kids had constructed a frickin rollercoaster or something downstairs. I went running down the stairs to yell at them. By the time I got down there I knew what it was. Sooooo crazy. We get tropical storms, tornados and floods all occasionally. NEVER AN EARTHQUAKE! We don't have any kind of plan for that at all.

I thought I was dizzy from lack of sleep that day. I was like, "is the ground moving? No, you need more sleep mecab."

No fringe. Just a simple, straight cut. Very flattering.

I may have to endure -50 kabillion C at times, but very few tornados (I've never seen one) or hurricanes or earthquakes or any other crazy weather. Lots of flooding, but it's usually farmland.
I have experienced one blizzard in my life. It was so cool! But I was warm and cozy and safe at home with the kiddos. My ex (a cop) was out around town, saving people stranded in their cars.

Earthquakes!!! i am in freakin Knasas damnit! we are not supposed to have earthquakes, we have tornadoes, hails sleet blizzards, flooding, drought, not supposed to have earthquakes.
HA! just a couple days after dday, nov 2011 oklahoma got hit with several earthquakes, we are right on ks/ok border,, I already thought my world was crashing down, when whole house started shaking and my chair I was sitting in started rolling across the floor I was sure of it !!
and ok had couple more just yesterday and day before, but much smaller,,,

Actually since we started keeping measurable records in 1867, Kansas has experienced 25 earth quakes. Between Kansas and Ok there is a small anticline structure and the Humbolt fault system. Deep fairly inactive faults but they are capable of producing earthquakes up to mag of 6. That will shake the bejeebus out of you if you have never felt one before.
