I have trouble with the Christian husband wishing his affair partner would die. Would get in horrible car accident and die. Ummmm, that is pretty freaking creepy, especially for a Christian! I'm Christian, not a Jesus freak or bible thumper though. I just thought being Christian was being nice to everyone and being supportive and not wishing that anyone would die. Good point Laststraw. Funny too, she apologized for cursing, and was worried how she would be perceived because she had said a bad word, but she wants him to die. Then she got all defensive for him over the letter. Which in my opinion sounds like bull shit. That's the preacher response, not the man. I'm staying out of it though. Ya, myh...me too. I am reading and sympathizing, but I find I have nothing to say. I will be a little judgmental though and say that I think some of the newbie responses to other newbies are....off. I like it here. You guys and the few friends I chat with are my only real reason for being here now. Though, a few people I enjoyed hearing from have disappeared! Where are all the guys? Did we chase them away?

I know guys, the infidelity board is a bit off lately. I was lucky to find so much support when I joined. The Physical/Emotional abuse board is great...LOL...that sounds awful outloud! I mean the people on there are great, because it turns out my marriage had waaaaaaaaaaay more problems than the infidelity.
I'm pretty sure we didn't chase the guys away. I think the crossdresser did. Oh man I'm going to hell!!! ;)

The board waxes and wanes like most things. It does seem a little off right now and probably has a lot to do with the new year and people feeling like they are stuck.

I have left it and returned like 4 times now.

In the meantime I stick to boards like this and the rebuilding board for the support I need.

At this point I feel like I should be giving support more than receiving anyway being 18 months out now. I guess I'm mostly here because this is where I hang out with this group of friends.

The trip went LONG. 35 hours total of no sleep. I did manage to drag my carcass out and get several forms of chocolate though (true story). Chocolate for everyone!

As for the thread. I hate it when people abuse religion in their threads. I'm SOOOOO not a religious person, but I respect it's importance in the lives of those who are religious (any religion). If someone spouts religious stuff, don't go on to be an asshole in the same thread. Kinda disrespectful, imo.
