I love my new NS, Dr Liu, UMDNJ Newark.. he is very chiari experienced and really put me at ease... didn't skip a beat with any of my questions - nothing like the other docs i have seen, who have to leave and look up the answers to my questions.. I have peace with the whole situation.. thank you, GOD!! Feel like I am mentally prepped, but anyone that has any surgery tips, I would really appreciate it... for instance, will I be able to put tee shirts on after surgery, how bout tank tops?? i cant find too many button-up tops i like.. just curious.. also, sleeping... is a chiari pillow necessary? how bout a really soft regular pillow? any other tips would be great.. thanks :)
