Arnold-Chiari Malformation Support Group
Arnold-Chiari malformation, sometimes referred to as 'Chiari malformation' or ACM, is a congenital anomaly of the brain. Arnold-Chiari Malformation II occurs in almost all children born with both spina bifida and hydrocephalus, but ACM I is typically seen in children and adults without spina bifida.
After searching for Doctors who treat chiari on various sites I came across Dr Hurlbert at the foothills hospital in Calgary where I live. I was wondering if anyone has seen him. I don't have a family doctor right now and am having difficulty in finding one who actually cares enough to help me here rather than just wanting to pump me full of medication that isn't helping.
